DescriptionFrom a photo caption, "It's a beginning," appearing in Tempe Daily News, August 6, 1986:It's a beginning - Elaine Borrelli (center) instructor for a city Community Services Department-sponsored summer class in basketry, helps class members Norma Russell of Chandler (right) and Tracy Gour of Tempe (seated) get a start on their basket projects. Borrelli also taught a class in "surface design" at the Tempe Community Center. Most of the city's summer leisure classes were winding to a close last week.
