DescriptionMiss Liberty, Tempe Daily News, July 9, 1986 - Some of the cast members for Tempe Boys' and Girls' Club's special Fourth of July show get ready to doff their red, white and blue hats to their own Lady Liberty. The youngsters spent several weeks building the 10-foot replica of the Statue of Liberty, whose torch actually was lighted for the patriotic musical presented for parents and friends Thursday night. Club members also wrote most of the dialogue for the show and spent nearly a month rehearsing for it.

The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G9-A.
