Locations mentioned include: Chilocco,Oaklahoma: Tesuque, Taos, and Santa Domingo,New Mexico; Fort Defiance, Walpi, Winslow, Grand Canyon, Phoenix Indian School, Casa Grande, and Roosevelt Dam, Arizona; Dixon (Flathead Indians) and Custer Battlefield (near Crow Agency) ,Montana.
