Description2021 City of Tempe Diversity Award Winner Danielle Nieto works for Native American Connections at The Lodge, an emergency shelter for individuals experiencing homelessness and are at high risk for contracting COVID-19. Danielle puts her life at risk every day to humbly serve those facing the toughest challenges. She currently serves on the Tempe Equity in Action Committee and is Peer Solutions' 2020 Guts To Be Good overall winner for having: the guts to speak up, the guts to lend a hand, the guts to be honest, the guts to be courteous and the guts to be respectful. She serves on several committees to further the cause, including the MAG Race Equity Leadership Team, Community Equity Consultant for Naturopaths Without Borders and more.
