DescriptionThis photographic slide shows a flood going through where Tempe Town Lake would be placed, and the rushing water is going underneath the three main bridges of Tempe at the time: the Mill Avenue Bridge (right side), the Ash Avenue Bridge (middle), and the Railroad Bridge (left side). The flood occured in 1966, but in the photo, car traffic is still operating as normal, or at least the bridges are still in use. The large conglomerate of cars together suggests a standstill.
