DescriptionToddler photo of Mildred Muriel Hart, daughter of Tempe's first mayor Dr. Fenn J. Hart, sitting atop a bobcat rug with three of her cousins, they are seated outside on a porch surrounded by palm trees. All four of the children are barefoot and dressed in ruffled white gowns, Muriel is the second child from the right, she has straight brown hair that reaches to the tops of her ears, and she appears to be 1-2 years old. Muriel is seated among three of her cousins from her mother Rosa Ann Brown Hart's side of the family, from left to right : Lela Knight (of Rosa's sister Jennie & her husband Thomas Knight), Jessie Dickinson (of Rosa's sister Delia & her husband Theo Dickinson, and Clara Brown (of Rosa's brother Earl Brown & his wife Jessie ). The photo is undated, but based on Mildred's age of 1-2 years old it would have been taken circa 1895.
