DescriptionGroup photo of Dr. Fenn J Hart, Tempe's first mayor, with his wife Rosa Brown Hart, daughter Mildred Hart Wilson and Mildred's three children Earl, Fenn and Rosemary Wilson. They are standing together outside in a suburban front yard with a street, trees, cars and a house in the background. Dr. Hart is wearing a tie, long sleeve white collared shirt, and suitpants, his hair is bald on top and his facial hair now consists of a trim white mustache and goatee. Mrs. Hart's outfit cannot be clearly seen, but she has white hair pulled back and round glasses. Mildred is wearing a short sleeve summer blouse and necklace (bottom not visible), and her hair is down and parted to the side in a short bob that reaches to her chin. Brothers Earl and Fenn Wilson are both wearing long sleeve white collared shirts and dark trousers (shoes not visible), Rosemary is wearing a short sleeve summer dress with ruffles around the neck and a bow in front that reaches just above her knee, she has white ruffled socks on (shoes not visible), and her hair is parted down the center in a bob that reaches just below her ears with straight cut bangs.The inscription on the back of the photo indicates the photo was taken by a niece of Dr. and Mrs. Fenn Hart while visiting the relative in the month of May. However, based on the age of Mildred's daughter Rosemary in the picture (who was born in 1924 and appears 5-8 years of age in the photo), the photo would likely have been taken circa 1930.Back row left to right: Dr. Fenn J.
