DescriptionGroup photo of Dr. Fenn J Hart, Tempe's first mayor, with his wife Rosa Brown Hart, daughter Mildred Hart Wilson, son-in-law Robert Wilson, and three grandchildren (from left to right) Fenn Wilson, Earl Wilson and Rosemary Wilson. They are posing together against a vehicle under a giant Sequoia tree with a wooden sign to the left indicating they are at Wawona campground, which is located at Yosemite National Park. The vehicle has a California license plate indicating it belonged to the Wilson family as they were California residents. Dr. Hart is wearing a tie and white collared shirt under a dark vest, suit jacket and pants, he has a newsboy cap on and his facial hair consists of a trim white mustache and goatee. Mrs. Hart is wearing a white blouse with a floral lace collar and belt tie layered under a long sleeve cardigan, a light colored skirt that reaches below her knees and black dress shoes, she has white hair pulled back under a white cloche cap and round glasses. Mildred Hart Wilson is standing between her parents wearing a ruffle trimmed draping day dress that reaches below her knee, black dress shoes, a white lace undershirt, beaded choker necklace and a white cloche cap over her dark bob hairstyle that reaches her jawline, she is holding a small clutch purse in her right hand. Robert Wilson is wearing a white long sleeve collared shirt with slacks and a belt (shoes not visible), his hair is trimmed short and he has no facial hair. Brothers Fenn and Earl Wilson are both wearing white long sleeve collared shirts, light trousers, black belts and dress shoes, they appear to be 12-14 years of age. Rosemary is wearing a short sleeve polka dot dress that reaches above her knee with a large white sailor collar and draping bow, she has dark socks scrunched down to her black dress shoes, and her hair is parted down the center in a bob that reaches just below her ears with loose bangs. The photo is undated, but based on photo 2023.3.67 dated 1939 in which Rosemary Wilson is a teenager, this photo would likely have been taken circa 1925.
