He is wearing work clothes, with a corner of the front bumper of a car visible next to him , and oil cans and other tools behind him on a shelf. Written on the back in ink: "George Gibson owned or operated The Mission Service Station at Mill & 8th St., N. E. Corner - Ralph worked there on summer while in H. School before he went to work for Harold Nevitt". Written in pencil: "Had servicer station on corner of Mill & 8th (N E Corner)."
