DescriptionFramed photographs of the Tempe Buttes that show the evolution of the area between 1970 and 1987. Framing includes landmark indicators such as the Double Buttes, Bell Buttes, I-10 Highway, Alameda Road, and Broadway Road (photos are looking Northwest as indicated by arrows in lower right corner).The photos were also housed in the office of Harry Mitchell both during his term as Tempe Mayor and Arizona Congressman.
