BiographyTempe Public Works Director, c1984-1994Graduated from the University of Kansas in 1959 with a degree in civil engineering. Before coming to work for the City of Tempe, he held positions in Evanston, Illinois; Denton, Texas; St. Louis Park, Minnesota, Kansas City, Missouri; Ponca City, Oklahoma; and Wichita, Kansas. He supervised the nine-block $3 million Mill Avenue renovation project.
