Architect.

Worked with his architect father on construction projects. Attended Tempe Grammar School and Tempe High School. He was a standout athlete in football, baseball, and golf. After graduating from high school, c1957, he turned down a contract to

play professional baseball to study architecture at USC. He earned his Bachelor of Architecture degree from USC in 1963, and started working with his father's firm in Tempe. His first assignment was to design Meyer Elementary School. He also designed Evans and Hudson Elementary Schools, as well as the new Mathematics Building and the Central Plant Building at ASU, and the Tempe Municipal Building (City Hall).

Chairman of Tempe Beautification Committee, the local affiliate of the Valley Beautiful Citizens Council. Member of the American Institute of Architects, director of Tempe Rotary Club, chairman of the Downtown Urban Renewal Committee of the Tempe Chamber of Commerce, President of Tempe Boys Club, and member of the Vestry of St. Augustine's Episcopal Church.
