BiographyDentist, cattle rancher, and businessman.
Attended Rural School, graduated from Tempe High School in 1930, and graduated from University of Arizona
with a major in bacteriology in 1934. Enrolled in the School of Dentistry at the University of Southern California, graduating in 1938. He returned to Arizona and started a dentistry practice in downtown Phoenix.
He also operated a citrus farm south of Tempe and a cattle ranch near Cave Creek.
Was a major in the Army Dental Corps in 1952 during the Korean War, serving at Fort Bliss. Returned home in 1955 and again practiced dentistry in Phoenix. Served on the Arizona State Hospital Board for 5 years and on the State Board of Education for 4 1/2 years. Owned the Scottsdale Medical Center. Member of American Dental Association, and served 10 years on the board of trustees of the Arizona State Dental Association. He was a founder of the Association of American Dentists and served 20 years on its board of directors and one year as its president. Member of the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration and a founding member of the L. D. Panky Institute of Advanced Dental Education of Miami, Florida.
Lived at 545 E. Guadalupe Road, 1938-1950; moved to Scottsdale.
