BiographyCowboy; Farmer.
Kidnapped by Apaches as a boy, he later served as an Army scout under generals George Crook and Nelson Miles during the Apache campaigns, and was one of the soldiers present at Geronimo's surrender. He came to Tempe to work for W. W. Jones, married his oldest daughter, Kathryn, and took over the operation of Jones' ranch at Blue Point, on the upper Salt River.
Owned land near Tempe in 1900.
He owned 23 acres in section 17, in 1924.
