BiographyCame to Arizona in 1900. Attended the Eighth Street School and Tempe High School. Graduated from Tempe Normal School. Taught two years in the Alhambra School District, west of Phoenix. Lived in Payson, c1918-1933.
She came back to Tempe after her husband's death, c1933, and worked in Maricopa County Recorder's office for 4 years. Then resumed her teaching career, first in Scottsdale district, then at Rural school for another 14 years.
Member of the Tempe Old Settlers Association and the Tempe Historical Society.
Lived on Mill Avenue in 1910; lived at 914 S. Forest Avenue in 1940.
