DescriptionWater Under the Mill Avenue Bridge. Caption attached to back reads: Exceeding the "splash" limit--It doesn't look like a whole lot of water, but the current 1,800 cubic feet per second of water being released into the riverbed by the Salt River Project is enough to keep the northbound Mill Avenue [Ave] crossing closed as it has been since December 18, 1984. According to SRP spokesperson Susanne Tso, the current release level will continue through most of this week and will be gradually reduced up until February 1. She said, "We are getting closer and closer to our target storage in the project reservoir system, thus the decrease in the releases."
