DescriptionStreet scene, Tempe, Arizona. Looking west down the main street.Correction to description: Looking north on Mill Avenue from around 7th or 8th Street (University Drive today). On right at the northeast corner of 6th Street is Baber-Jones Mercantile building. Behind it is visible the Laird & Dines Building with its distinctive Victorian cuppola (at southeast corner of 5th Street). Large trees growing on west side of Mill Avenue hide the Tempe Hardware building and other structures.
