DescriptionRectangular piece of black paper with gold lettering and decoration folded in thirds so as to enclose 23 short (2.5 cm. long) gold-edge needles which are pierced through black cloth. Text of wrapper front: "R.J. Patent 25 parabola Gold burnished between 'Eagle grasping arrows, wings unfurled also: Manufactured in Redditch England Great Britain: Back knight on rearing horse "These needles warranted Patent Parabola --- By R.J. Roberts Interior" This improved Wrapper Adopted in 1889" "Registered in the United States 1868 and 1878: 'R.J. Roberts" "By R.J. Roberts Razor Scissors the best in the world" Caveat: "Numerous reading matter there on (?) siilary arranged worthless, rotten, brass beaded needles and many deceived customers buying the unusable trash have supported "Parabola." Thus, the high repute of the "Parabola" needles has oft-times suffored.
