DescriptionLightweight summer coat of black silk trimmed with brown ribbon-like trim and a wide black and white woven braid. Princess seams with flared skirt. Three-quarter length sleeves with upturned cuffs. Double collar with long inner placket. Hook and eye fasteners on inner placket. Coat is lined with light gray fabric. Back of skirt portion has a walking slit at center back. No manufacturer's tags, may be hand-made. There are several places along the lower portion of the coat where something was spilled onto the silk and these areas have deteriorated and shredded.Status
