DescriptionTwo cylindrical porcelain sections connected through central holes with wire nail. Nail is box head driven through fiber washer at head, and has a flange 7/8" from point. Smaller cylindrical disc has embossed letters. Nail It, pat applied for. Base of this disk is unglazed, divided into 14c raised sections and has a raised exterior lip. Larger cylinder is deeply indented, unglazed foot, upper surface glazed with two segmented, parallel, long tudinal grooves. These form a part of early electric system known as "knob and tube."
