DescriptionThe square wooden plaque has small metal text plates on the top and bottom. They read: "Honorary Life” and "Gov. Howard Pyle for Outstanding Services, 1973." The center has a white tile with a green map of West Virginia. In its center is a black lantern with the "green cross for safety." "Member" and "West Virginia Safety Council, Inc." are printed on the tile. The back is covered in green felt. The plaque is in a cardboard box with tissue paper. The box is brown on the bottom and the cover is ivory with wood grain.
