DescriptionMarjorie Gray (second from left) usually has the agenda well in hand for business meetings of the Tempe Branch of the Maricopa County Chapter American Red Cross -- but at the latest branch meeting, things didn't go quite as the branch chairman had planned. There was a slight interruption in regular proceedings -- so County Chapter emergency social services director Pauline Bourgeois and chapter chairman Dr. William Berry (both right) -- could present Mrs. Gray with a special honor award of appreciation for her many volunteer efforts on behalf of the Red Cross. Adding his congratulations was Col. Weston Hyde (left), executive director of Tempe United Way in which Red Cross is a member.
