DescriptionFrom an article published April 1, 1977 by the Tempe Daily News:A Touching Experience -
Preschoolers reach out gingerly and some a little warily, to touch a baby goat who was a special visitor at Tempe Public Library's weekly free "Story Hour" for three through five year olds Thursday morning. Tots were awed by the goat, one of two on hand to vividly illustrate one of the morning's stories, "The Goat and the Rug." But just as awed by it all was the baby goat provided for the morning by the DeVore family to give the youngsters a special treat.
