DescriptionFrom a photograph caption appearing in Tempe Daily News March 10, 1978:Monkey Tales - Preschoolers attending Tempe Public Library story time, Thursday morning, show their delight with the "monkey" story being told in mime by visitor Dan Kamin. Kamin, a Sears-Roebuck Foundation and National Endowment of the Arts sponsored Affiliate Artist, made the weekly Story Hour at the library a special treat as he appeared for program under auspices of KAET, Channel 8, of Arizona State University. Kamin, who has been featured on "Mr. Roger's Neighborhood" - a children’s favorite which is aired over Channel 8 - has devoted himself to mime exclusively since 1970.
