DescriptionFrom an article published April 1, 1977 in the Tempe Daily News:Passover Seder -
Tempeans Dr. and Mrs. Howard Limmer sit down to the traditional Seder table to mark the first night of Passover, which begins tomorrow at sundown. A sweet wine is served, including a special glass for the prophet Elijah. The Seder plate holds symbolic foods of the holiday, which celebrates the Hebrew people's escape from Egypt. Observed mainly in the home, Passover includes reading from the Haggadah by the father, telling the story of the Israelis flight.
