Judi Hillard (right), Marcos de Niza High School junior, is joined by junior class sponsor Peggy Hassett (left) and Don Patterson, former junior class sponsor, in presenting $1,084.75 check to Dorothy Heller (2nd from right), president of the Arizona Chapter of SIDS, an organization concerned with the mystery of the Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Proceeds came from a dance marathon staged by De Niza juniors, and chairmaned by Judi, last January. Judi said over $5,000 was pledged for the 30 hours of dancing, $2,200 has been collected and funds are still dribbling in. Half of proceeds were to go to SIDS; other half to the junior class to sponsor this year's junior-senior prom.
