DescriptionGot a Crush on you could have been the theme song for the seven-member rock band, Crush, debuting at a concert last week at Corona del Sol High School. Young people chosen in a Rush for Crush Talent Search competition conducted by Crush soft drinks in Phoenix, Dallas and Fort Worth areas comprised the band -- and nearly half of them were from Tempe. They included Corona juniors Jon Piro, guitarist, and Jacqueline Holte, vocalist (see 2001.19.4970 and 4973) and Marcos de Niza High School senior Jim Cowley, pictured here, bass player for the band.
