DescriptionSome people complain about working for peanuts - but not Shorty, circus owner Ivan Henry's elephant, who would rather work for peanuts than than anything else! Shorty took on challengers in "The Great Peanut Eating Contest" at Tempe's Sun Devil Lounge last night and it was really no contest at all, even though quite a few unwary contestants turned out to take up the champ's challenge. Contestants claimed an unfair advantage on the champ's part - he didn't have to shell his own peanuts!The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G7-E.
