DescriptionThe Last Survivor-Tempe Daily News-October 22, 1977Rev. David Jones, retired Episcopalian minister and a longtime Tempe resident, poses with a prized possession-the French flag which decorated the coffin of US Revolutionary War hero John Paul Jones when it was brough aboard the Navy's USS Brooklyn in 1905, to be returned from France for a final resting place in the United States.
