Free-form planting bed, graceful trees and low trailing shrubs and plants are features of the landscaping at the Thomas Jacob house, 713 East Tulane, one of the Tempe Garden Club's "Yards of the Month" for October. Also bearing a "Yard of the Month" sign, selected as a second winner in the area judged for this past month's contest sponsored by the Garden Club, is the front year of the Fred Gecan home at 210 East Paseo. Garden Clubbers encourage Tempeans to drive by and view the beautifully-landscaped homes - and pick up ideas for your own home outdoor decorating.
