DescriptionLaVerne Harris counts her family and art as the "really important" things in her life, and she puts those interests together in decorating the nursery at her home. LaVerne, who teaches Tempe Parks and Recreation Department art classes as well as teaching painting privately, painted the mural for the room above. Doing murals for children's rooms and a children's book are in her future art plans.The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G8-A.
