DescriptionA Sun-day that isn't a Sunday but a Wednesday instead comes to Tempe and the rest of Tempe tomorrow. Governor Bruce Babbitt has proclaimed Wednesday for the state observance of "Sun Day," designed to stimulate public interest and action in seeking alternative sources of energy while conserving current supplies. Pinning a "Sun'day" button on Mayor Bill LoPiano are Arizona State University students Belinda Allen, zoology major and coordinator of ASU Students for Solar Energy, which will be staging a solar energy fair on campus tomorrow, and Jeff Gorman, pre-architecture student who is on the state executive committee for Arizona Sun Day as well as a coordinator for Students for Solar Energy.
