DescriptionTaken from Tempe Daily News - June 12, 1978:If you don't like to dive how about sliding into the water! At Tempe Beach swimming pool, First Street and the Tempe Bridge, lifeguard Janet Quinn keeps a watchful eye on swimmers. Tempe Beach and Escalante Park pools are open from 12:30 to 6 pm seven days a week: McClintock pool as 12:30 to 8 pm hours; Clark pool 12:30 to 7 pm - and there are lifeguards on duty at all four pools at all hours. Manager at Tempe Beach pool is Rick McDonald.
