DescriptionFrom a photo caption appearing in Tempe Daily News, June 18, 1978:Magic Name - Remember "Buckwheat" from the old "The Little Rascals" movies of an earlier day? Lots of people do - including younger generations now seeing re-runs of the antics of "The Little Rascals" on television. "Doc" English (above) is Buckwheat grown up (and he still prefers being called Buckwheat!). Presently visiting friends in Tempe, he hopes to remain in the Valley permanently if he can find work to do here.
