DescriptionTempe Royells Junior Drum and Bugle Corps has added a booming new note to their musical sound with the addition of a contra-bass bugle, biggest bugle made, to its equipment. Giving the new instrument a try is Royells member Eddie Hicks, South Mountain High School sophomore. And presenting band director Wes Ehrardt with the $1,000 check to cover cost of the expensive instrument is Pete Gillespie (right), commander of Tempe's William Bloys Legion Post 2 which sponsors the Royells.
