DescriptionBefore it opened for the general public this morning, Tempe's new Piccadilly Cafeteria at Southern and Price was scene last night for an opening celebration and "sneak preview" for city VIPs, with officials from the chain's headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on hand too. Getting better acquainted during the preopening part were (l to r) Louise Gossett, who will manage the new Tempe facility; Hugh Sputler, district manager for Piccadilly; Mrs. Dick Quick and her husband, president of the Piccadilly chain, of Baton Rouge; Tempe Mayor Bill LoPiano; Mrs. W. A. Richards of Baton Rouge and Herbert Dollar, assistant manager of the local cafeteria.The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G8-C.
