DescriptionFrom the Tempe Daily News October 3, 1978: Dr. Gilbert Bruns (left), acting director of ASU Center for Criminal Justice, and associate professor Dr. Gayle Shuman, who led in founding of the center, contemplate the growth that has come the center's way as it gains in national recognition. The ASU Center has graduated 380 people since it awarded its first bachelor's degree in 1974 - and this year has 750 students enrolled in its undergraduate and graduate programs.The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G8-D.
