DescriptionFrom an article and photo caption appearing in the marketplace, a6 section of the Tempe Daily News, Saturday, October 6, 1984:Ready, set, go! - Don Adams, right, director of Bashas' 38th and newest store at Rural and Guadalupe roads in Tempe, and produce supervisor Eddie Burdette do some last-minute cleaning up and stocking before the store opened to the public this week. Grand opening for the new market will be Oct. 20, when the only remaining Arizona-owned supermarket company also will be holding a Grand Remodeling Sale at its other Tempe store at Southern Avenue and McClintock Drive.
