DescriptionRetirees Honored, from Tempe Daily News, May 17, 1985 - The end of the school year almost always means the retirement of longtime teachers and district employees. The Tempe Elementary School District recently honored 12 retirees, along with 18 veteran employees with 20 years of service and one who worked 30 years in the district. Three of those honored were, from left, Paul Scheier, cited for 20 years of service as a custodian at Hudson School; June Muller, retiring principal at Laird School; and Martha Bunger, retiring Frank School teacher.
