Betty Benton, Carminati school first grade teacher and newly installed 1977-78 president of Tempe Elementary Education Association, chats with two of many who received recognition at TEEA's annual spring reception for retiring Tempe Elementary School District personnel, Thursday evening. Preston Marshall (left) an eighth grade teach at Gililland Junior High School, was among retiring TE3 personnel honored during the evening. Joe Stocker (right), Arizona Education Association public relations director, was presented with TEEA Copper Bell Award for his services to education via his column "Your Child In School."
