DescriptionFrom a photo caption appearing on Page B2, Tempe Daily News, Wednesday, September 4, 1985, 'Applause' section:Biggest of them all - The Tempe Diablos, a special events committee of the city's Chamber of Commerce, has made the biggest single donation yet to Tempe YMCA's capital campaign. From left YMCA campaign general chairman Jerry Strickland receives the $30,000 check from Diablos President Dr. Leon Shell. Definitely not a disinterest bystander is Rudy Campbell, right who is both a member of Tempe Diablos and a volunteer in the YMCA campaign to raise funds for a building for the Tempe Y.
