DescriptionThe color photo shows an old San Diego bugline bus on the road in traffic with a Falstaff Beer ad on the front. The side has a Midas Muffler banner and behind it is a block wall and Palo Verde tree. The route sign says the destination is Los Angeles.

Caption from the Tempe 150th Anniversary exhibit:
The Bug Line’s distinctive buses were kept running with advertising fees, providing free travel for cash-strapped students between Phoenix’s Christown Mall and ASU.
