DescriptionIndividual side portrait of Dr. Fenn J Hart, Tempe's first mayor, wearing a Prince Albert suit consisting of a dark silk vest with a single metallic button in the center, over a high white collar, with a pin-striped suitjacket overtop. His hair is trimmed short and combed forward in the front, he has a short black mustache, thick sideburns and a clean-shaven chin. At the bottom of the photo the words J.D.Maxwell, 186 Bowery, N.Y. are printed. The photo is undated but appears to have been taken during his time at The New York Eclectic College where he graduated in 1883 with a degree in Medicine.Status
