DescriptionSnapshot of Dr. Fenn J Hart, Tempe's first mayor, standing outside a house with his wife Rosa Brown Hart, and an unkown elderly female (possibly a Mrs. Taylor). The inscriptions on the back of the photo indicate that it was a snapshot taken by a Jessie, and that the woman in the photo may be a Mrs.Taylor. Dr. Hart is standing to the right of the ladies and is wearing a dark pin stripe suit, his hair is bald on top and he has a white mustache and goatee. In the center stands Mrs. Hart dressed in a dark long sleeve dress that reaches below her knees with black dress shoes, her white hair is pulled back and she's wearing round glasses. The unkown elderly female standing to the left of Mrs. Hart is dressed in a white blouse under a black cardigan and black pleated skirt that reaches below her knees, she has short curly white hair above her ears, round glasses, a long beaded necklace that reaches her waist, and black dress shoes. The photo is undated but based on Dr. Hart's appearance, the photo was likely taken circa 1925.Status
