They are standing together outside Mr. Knight's home at 499 Buena Vista in San Francisco, CA. Thomas Knight was husband to Jessie Brown Knight, sister of Rosa Brown Hart, and brother-in-law to Dr. Fenn J. Hart. Mr. Knight and Dr. Hart are both wearing a white collared shirt under a dark tie, vest, matching suitjacket, pants and dress shoes. Mr. Knight has short white hair and a white mustache, and Dr. Hart is bald with a white mustache and goatee. Mrs. Hart is wearing a long white dress under a long dark frock containing Asian writings and landscapes, she has dark dress shoes on, her hair is white and pulled back and she is wearing round glasses. The unknown female is wearing a short sleeve collared white dress that reaches just below her knee with black dress shoes, her hair is white and pulled back, and she is wearing round glasses.
