DescriptionClose-up photo of Thomas Knight (left) and Dr. Fenn J Hart (right), Tempe's first mayor. They are standing together outside Mr. Knight's home in San Francisco, CA. Thomas Knight was husband to Jessie Brown Knight, sister of Dr. Fenn's wife Rosa Brown Hart (brother-in-law to Dr. Hart). Mr. Knight and Dr. Hart are both wearing white collar shirts under a tie, vest and suitjacket. Mr. Knight has thinning white hair and a white mustache. Dr. Hart is bald on top with white hair along the sides, a white mustache and goatee. The photo is undated but was taken along with a collection of photos taken at Mr. and Mrs. Knight's home in August of 1928.Status
