DescriptionEnlarged photo of Thomas Knight (left) and Dr. Fenn J Hart (right), Tempe's first mayor. They are standing together outside Mr. Knight's home in San Francisco, CA. Thomas Knight was husband to Jessie Brown Knight, sister of Dr. Fenn's wife Rosa Brown Hart (brother-in-law to Dr. Hart). Mr. Knight and Dr. Hart are both wearing Homburg hats, white collar shirts under a tie, vest, suitjacket, pants and dress shoes. Mr. Knight has a white mustache, and Dr. Hart has a white mustache and goatee. The photo is undated but was taken along with a collection of photos taken at Mr. and Mrs. Knight's home in August of 1928.Status
