DescriptionHere is a small coin book bank item that was often given out by the Valley National Bank to patrons, especially kids, to encourage savings. It is red and gold in color, and on the front it has the logo of the Valley National Bank with its distinguished eagle. On the back, is another logo, a round seal which says on its outer perimeter "Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, Member." In the center are the words "$10,000 Maximum Insurance For Each Depositor." This coin bank was manufactured in San Francisco, California and patented in 1923.
