DescriptionThis is a slide photograph of the exterior of the Casa Loma Hotel building, located at 320 S. Mill Avenue in Tempe, Arizona. The hotel was built in 1899. The photo shows a door open, and on the door are small words which say "open 7 p.m., closed Tuesday." Just adjacent to it is a sign that says "No Weapons Allowed Inside," which is very self-explanatory. To the right is a window which has a banner on it that advertises "Canadian Clu(b)." The last letter is cut off but there is a good chance it says "club," and underneath says "The Best in the House." The bar at the Casa Loma was called the Cave at this time.
