DescriptionThere was no "glided cage" for this tiny bird, so its Mom found it a home in a "glazed cage" instead - a potted spider plant hanging on the front porch at the home of Mrs. Freda Moffat in The Meadows, Tempe. The baby sparrow is one of four discovered in the pot when Mrs. Moffat went to water her plant, and almost gave the infants an unexpected bath. The film negative of this photograph is housed in box 2G7-C.
